Summary: As the Registration Act is passed into law, Captain America forms an underground band of crime-fighters that becomes known as the Secret Avengers. Iron Man also leads a band of heroes, with SHIELD support. Mr. Fantastic works on a project known as "42". And Tony Stark convinces Spider-Man to unmask!

Speaking appearances from Daredevil, Doc Samson, The Falcon, The Invisible Woman, Luke Cage, Mr. Fantastic, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Tigra, Wolverine, Yellowjacket, The Vulture and several Young Avengers (Hulking, Patriot, Stature, Wiccan).

Continuity: Spidey's unmasking overlaps into the beginning of "Taking Civil Liberties" (Thunderbolts/Next).

Comments: Having Spider-Man reveal his identity is certainly dramatic, but it is an editorial decision that radically alters the character's circumstances -- and not, in my opinion, in a positive way
