"The Butterfly"

I was sitt'n there play'n on the internet
Check'n out a few chat rooms
Think'n to myself there's noth'n go'n on
And I'm gonna have to leave here soon
My screen was filled messages
Url's by the score
Inviting me to come and play
With a bunch of them internet whores
My screen was filled with a bunch of them ads
And I was starting to get bored
They said come to my site, enter for free
And I'm naked as the day I was born
Now I was just look'n for some friendly chat
To Cyber ain't for me
I was just think'n 'bout chang'n rooms
When a message came across my screen
Yep a window opened up in front of me
And in came a butterfly
She called herself the shabbychic
And the message just simply said hi
The next thing I saw was a/s/l
And "you're too old for me"
That's when I almost said so long
And set the little butterfly free
After a time we traded some lines
And she made an impression on me
We talked about things like where we live
And exchanged some poetry
So now I have a brad new friend
To chat with now and then
Sure am glad that window open up
And let the little butterfly in!
