Summary: The Thunderbolts travel to Arizona to take on the Hulk and his friend Janis , vowing to contain the Hulk…or destroy him

Continuity: This is the Thunderbolts' earliest published appearance, but their second adventure sequentially. The cleanup following this battle with the Hulk is shown in a TV newscast in "Tales from the Marvel Universe" ( 1997/04/02).

Comments: The interior story is untitled; "Introducing the Thunderbolts!" is lifted from the cover. Note several comments suggesting that Meteorite has a history with the Hulk, Citizen V’s dictatorial demeanor, and some minor costume discrepancies.
