Summary: Cyclone discovers the T-Bolts’ latest hideaway and leads them a merry chase into the clutches of the Crimson Cowl’s Masters of Evil. The Cowl then makes a startling offer.
Gayle Rogers begins her "Thunderwatch" TV series. Erik recalls his criminal career. Karla reports having strange dreams, and Hallie shows off new, longer hair.
The Masters are Cyclone, Flying Tiger, Klaw, Man-Killer and Tiger Shark.
Continuity: This is the first T-Bolts story from which Techno and Zemo are absent. Cyclone reveals that he gets his powers from his costume, which is based on the design of the original Cyclone's, and which was rebuilt and bestowed upon him by "France's top crime family."
Comments: Author Kurt Busiek is too clever not to have intended the double meaning of "Career," meaning both "Job Path" and "Careen".
