Summary: To keep the New Warriors funded, Night Thrasher's Taylor Foundation pitches the team as stars of their own reality show. Thrasher, Namorita, Nova and Speedball are joined by Microbe to investigate evil doings that turn out to be the handiwork of Tiger Shark and the Armadillo.

Continuity: The Warriors' status has been in flux for awhile, but this story nails things down.

After a six-episode first season, The New Warriors!! is barely renewed. With Nova gone into space, the team decides to beef up ratings by pursuing a tougher grade of super-villain.

Comments: This volume of New Warriors doesn't seem to get its own joke. If the kids are supposed to be starring in a reality series -- with all of the physical limitations that cameras and sound booms imply -- why is the comic drawn in this rangy, broad cartoony style? There are some chuckles along the way but, in my opinion, this is one "Pilot" that should never have sold.
