Thunderbolts: Dead & In Person... Practically brothers, from Captain Marvel 12

"Dead & In Person..." Captain Marvel 12 (December 2000)
"Am I Blue?" Captain Marvel 13 (January 2001)
(2000/11/02)

Reader Rating: Average; Thunderbolts Interest: Low

Summary: Zey-Rogg and Una-Rogg, the lunatic children of Mar-Vell's arch-enemy Yon-Rogg, are exiled to Earth as part of Maximum Security. When they spot Genis making a public appearance to hype Marlo's comic book shop, they decide that it's time to avenge their father's death.

Continuity: Genis' battle with Zey-Rogg will show up on TV during the second part of "Maximum Security" (2001/01/01). Shortly after this adventure, Genis heads for the moon to meet with Moonstone and the T-Bolts (Thunderbolts/Next). The sequences with the Destroyer and the Micronauts -- excuse me, Microns -- are not part of Thunderbolts continuity.

Comments: Author Peter David seems way more interested in his supporting cast, particularly Marlo, than in his title character. The most interesting story element -- the Kree oppression of females -- does not kick in until the very tail of the story, and is, unfortunately, not followed through.
